Market

Although there is no age limitation on people who want to improve their knowledge or skills, I chose to focus on people around 12–30 in this case study due to how the application would appear and function.

My Role 👩‍🦳

In this internship, I worked as a UX Researcher and UI/UX Designer. I worked together with the founder and discussed, empathized with, defined, and ideated phases to provide the research results, the user flow, and the wireframe. Then we designed our own high-fidelity prototype.

Secondary Research ✍️

73 Percent of Students Prefer Some Courses to Be Fully Online Post-Pandemic. In a recent survey, nearly three-quarters of students — 73 percent — said they would prefer to take some of their courses fully online post-pandemic. However, only half of faculty (53 percent) felt the same about teaching online.

In this phase, I conduct research to develop knowledge about what the users do, say, think, and feel. In this case study, I played the role of a user of the SuperProf Online Tutoring Website to explore the experience of using an online course. To gather more perspective on how people use online course platforms.
